ശ്രുതി. എസ്. പങ്കജ്.....✍️ കേരള സർക്കാരിന്റെ ഫിഷറീസ് മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്റെ കണക്കുപ്രകാരം കേരളത്തിൽ കടൽ മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിലേർപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ എണ്ണം 804615 പേരാണ്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് - 172090 പേർ (ആകെ മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികളുടെ 21.5 % രണ്ടാമത് വരുന്ന ആലപ്പുഴയിൽ 1,31,000 പേർ കൊല്ലത്ത് അത് 95000 പേർ എറണാകുളത്ത് 74000 പേർ എന്നാൽ സമുദ്രോൽപ്പന്ന വരുമാനത്തിൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം - 101880 (value in lakh) കൊല്ലം - 201338(value in lakh) എറണാകുളം - 215100 (value in lakh) അതായത് എറണാകുളത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നരയിരട്ടി മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികൾ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് നിന്നുണ്ടാക്കുന്നത് എറണാകുളത്തിന്റെ പകുതി വ്യാപാര മൂല്യം പോലുമില്ല.  ഐസിന് പകരം മണലു പുരട്ടി മത്സ്യം വിൽക്കുന്ന പ്രാകൃത രീതി കേരളത്തിൽ തന്നെ ഇവിടെ മാത്രമേ കാണൂ. ഇവിടുത്തെ മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികളെ ഇളക്കിവിടുന്ന പാതിരികൾ എന്തെങ്കിലും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ അവരുടെ ജീവിതം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്താൻ ?  വാസ്തവത്തിൽ ഈ പാതിരിമാരുടെ ക്ലച്ചസിൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ ലത്തീൻ മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികൾ കിടക്കുന്നത് കൊണ്ടാണ് മുകളിൽ പറഞ്ഞ ദയനീയമായ കണക്കുണ്ടാവുന്നത്.  എന്നാൽ കേരളത്തിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു ജില്ലയുടെ തീരത്തു...

The unemployment rate in urban India was higher at 8.96 per cent, while in rural areas, it was at 7.55 per cent, the CMIE data showed on Thursday.  In October this year, the urban joblessness was at 7.21 per cent and the rural unemployment rate was at 8.04 per cent. The country’s unemployment rate rose to a three-month high at 8 per cent during November, according to data by the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE).
